Third Day- Scheduling Project Meetings

The third day of our Project Meeting was dedicated to analysing the project and establishing a calendar for our future meetings and activities to be done in schools with our students and fellow teachers.

The teachers’ and students’ meetings were scheduled as follows:

Romania – 10th to 17th January 2015- Project Meeting for Teachers

Turkey- 19th to 25th April 2015- Project Meeting for Teachers

Lithuania- 13th to 19th September 2015- Project Meeting for Teachers

Turkey- 11th to 17th October 2015- Project Meeting for Students and Teachers

Lithuania- 8th to 14 May 2016- Project Meeting for Students and Teachers

Portugal- 29th May to 4th June 2016- Project Meeting for Teachers

The Portuguese team coordinator made a digital map of the teachers’ meetings to be held between 2015-2016.

We had also  established the common criteria for students’ selection. We all agreed on the following:

1.The students must be between 14 and 18 years old.

2.The students must have at least an A2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

3.The students must be able to use an editing program, at  least at a beginner’s level and to communicate usign online channels.

Visting teachers from Turkey, Lithuania and Portugal attended English classes held in the hosting institution. The students were encouraged to speak in English and ask questions about the culture, history and lifestyle specific to the project countries.

Turkish Teacher meets Romanian Students

We discussed about the procedure for making the mini-dictionaries in English-Romanian-Turkish-Lithuanian-Portuguese.
